Surf Flair

Surf Flair: You will find the most flair in beginner spots like Cowells, the experienced must set themselves apart. Flair includes but is not limited to:

Surfing with no leash

Paddling on your knees

Paddling with one foot up

Wearing a hat out (ok, I do that for sun protection)

Wearing sunglasses

Blowing a whistle to scare the beginners off YOUR wave

But the ultimate is...

The idiot who brings a flashlight out to sunset sessions to shine on the wave so he can see where he is going

Ummm... aren't fish (sharks) attracted to shiny objects especially at night when they like to feed!??!

The surf has been good, it's only getting better. I have been loving going after a long day of work. The sky changes all different colors as I watch the sun dissapear, the stars come out, and the water glasses off to perfection. Ah, God's creation is stunning out in the ocean. Sunset sessions are beaut, minus the idiot with the flashlight.
